Hello lovelies! I was absolutely thrilled to be sent Coloristiq’s September manicure box* to share with you – a nail varnish collection celebrating some of the most vibrant cities in the world. Each month brings a different theme and this one especially appealed to me! The manicure box is a subscription box, but one where you buy each and every box you want, so you choose the boxes you like most and skip out on others; your card will never be charged without warning. Each box costs £15 and has a minimum value of £33, which is a crazy-good bargain in my opinion! You can shop this box here.
“New York. London. Venice. Budapest. This month’s Manicure Box celebrates some of the most vibrant and exciting places in the world. Join the hustle and bustle of the big cities, with adventure around every corner. ‘Nails and the City’ has been made for the outgoing city ladies who love the bright lights, shopping opportunities and stunning buildings. You may only be one of millions in this city but you can make your nails one of a kind.”
This box comes with:
- Essie polish in the shade fifth avenue (which is absolutely stunning!) Inspired by New York.
- A mini OPI polish from the Venice collection – I received the red option. Inspired by Venice.
- Nails inc. polish in the shade the mall. Inspired by the royals in London.
- Danglefoot nail polish in the shade Budapest. Inspired by the thermal springs in the City Park – Budapest.
I must say, I’m very excited to try the danglefoot nail varnish as I have never tried anything from the brand before; or heard from it for that matter! I really love the packaging and the stunning blue shade has tiny little silver and gold flecks running through it – I feel like it will be easily transferable to winter too! Danglefoot is actually the featured brand this month; handmade in Norfolk and made with 5-free non-toxic ingredients. I cannot wait to dig in!
I was also really happy to see the Essie nail varnish as anyone that knows me knows I favour lighter nail colours; especially blues, so this will force me to branch out. This orange-red will definitely work best in summer, although with a sparkly top coat I reckon you can get away with it in Winter too. I’ve never been disappointed with an Essie nail varnish so I know I’ll love it; this polish alone is worth £7.99 which shows just how well priced this manicure box is!
I’m a big sucker for themed things so I know for a fact I will be running back to Manicure Box to get my hands on the future collections – eeeek! I’m overall so so happy with this box – the stunning packaging, all the information you are given, the beautiful theme and most of all the stunning shades of nail varnish. I can’t wait to try out all of these shades! You can buy your own manicure box here on the Coloristiq website. Coloristiq also offer a service where you can rent nail varnishes which I also wanted to mention.. You make a wishlist of colours after browsing through the range, and every month you are sent three bottles of nail varnish to send back for free at the end of the month – if you’re one of those people who can never finish a bottle of nail varnish before it goes old and manky this might be for you! Check it out here.
