Heart Beauty Essentials | Beauty Box

I realised the other day I hadn’t written a beauty box post in aaages – and seeing as I have a whole section for them I thought I better get ordering to add some more content to my blog. 😉 Any excuse ay? Blogging is baad for me. Latest in Beauty is a website I have used time and time again, as it’s specifically for non-subscription beauty boxes. This really appeals to me as you’re just bound to get some shoddy months in subscription boxes, and you can’t pick and choose what you get with them! (That being said I know I’ll try more subscription boxes in the future eek!) I found the ‘heart beauty essentials‘ beauty box on sale (50% off!!) for only £9; so without even looking at the contents I decided to order it haha!

As I hadn’t really looked into what this box came with, I was pretty chuffed from the second I opened it. As you can see, it comes jam packed with loads of really well sized products from a variety of different areas – #bossedit my friends, bossed it.

I think those hair ties are too fricken cute I’m finding it hard to cope! All the shades are super pretty, neutral and wearable, and come with a shimmer/sparkle throughout. The box also came with a LOLA nail varnish in the lovely purple shade ‘022 Electric Purple.’ I don’t have a colour quite like this one so I’m excited to try it out – and I don’t think I’ve used this brand either so lets hope it’s a gooden. I’m also excited to try the hydraluron moisture boosting mask; I literally haven’t used a sheet mask in years so I’m hoping I’ll rediscover a hidden gem here and my complexion will be thriving – that’s definitely not too much to ask for. 😉

I bought one of the Rimmel provocalips a while ago, but I literally never got round to trying it out properly – that’s when you know you have serious beauty blogger problems. I own a beautiful pink shade, and the box has given me a bright pinky-red to try out. I highly doubt the shade will particularly suit me, but I will feed back on that one if it’s anything special ahha!

I’ve never repurchased a shower gel from a beauty box as to me, shower gel is shower gel, so I can’t say I’m too excited about the Bloom and Blossom product. It’s completely unfragranced (I quite like a super fruity shower gel,) and it’s 99% naturally derived – which to be fair, is pretty sassy. I’ve also never heard of the brand Roger and Gallet, but I’m really pleased to have the body sorbet to try out as it smells so natural and delicious, and claims 24hr hydration – here’s to hoping!

I tried a bunch of dirty works skin care a little while ago because – to be honest – the packaging hahahaha! And I was, on the whole, very impressed! (Just don’t spend your money on the micellar water – stick with garnier on that one.) I found the other face wipes I used; which are different by the looks of it, okay as far as face wipes go. I didn’t plan on running out and buying any more but I’m certainly not complaining at the chance of using them again!

I also can’t say I’m overly excited about the nuxe face cream, simply because I already have this exact product. I do really love it though, I just didn’t particularly need any more haha! I’m going to keep this in a drawer until my next mini break.

I wanted to re-photograph these two products as I am definitely most excited to delve into them! I’ve never used a face peel before so I want to see if the hype is worth it. The microdelivery peel is a weekly two-step peel to do at home, and it should help brighten and smooth the skin – I will definitely fill you in on how this goes and if I turn into a huge convert!

The last product is one I noticed as soon as soon as I opened my beauty box – due to the lovely green packaging. It just looks really earthy and something you should be using on skin.. (Marketing at its finest lads!) It is an urban veda (natural skincare) ‘purifying hydrating toner,’ and says it will refine pores – for oil-prone skin. (That’s me!) It smells deliciously minty and fresh and I just want to lather my face in it as we speak, eeeek. I could have recieved one of four of the toners here and I definitely got the one most perfect for me so woooooooop.

So my friends, that is the heart beauty box that I got for nine fricken pounds – bargainnnnn. I’m so excited to jump into everything; beauty boxes are just amazing for finding hidden gems in the beauty sea full of way too many products to get my head around haha!

Will you be looking into buying any beauty boxes soon? What do you think of the heart beauty essentials box?
