Other than the Christmas range, I’ve tried something from every Zoella release – and I have to say, the sweet inspirations collection is definitely my favourite to date. This range is absolutely the most unique, and although I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried, this range definitely brings something new to Zoella beauty.
The range is inspired by French patisseries and smells deliciously of macaroons – and it really does; the scent has nailed it! I feel like this whole range is a lot more ‘grown up’ than the other looks-wise, but the scent is really fun and playful! The first product I bought is le fizz – the usual fizz bar scented with the new fragrance. As I am 100% a bath bomb fanatic I knew I’d be getting this, and I think it holds the scent really well. This fizz bar is wider but not as deep as than the last, with smaller square chunks. Le fizz costs £5.
I hadn’t actually bought a Zoella body mist before this one but I’m really happy. The packaging is beautiful and the glass bottle adds a little something to the lower-end, mist side of the fragrance market. This fragrance does smell gorgeously of macaroons – however it also has very sweet floral undertones to it. I think this is what has been used as the base of the mist, and when you catch a whiff of this on its own it’s nothing special – kind of cheapy smelling. It’s a shame as this part of the spray lasts a lot longer than it’s macaroon counterpart, but for only £8 a bottle I’m still happy with this. I think I’ll be doubling this product up as a room spray – the first spritz where you get a burst of a bakery is worth it.
The final product I wanted to try out was the bath latte – basically a thin shower cream but in the cutest packaging evaaaarrr. This product isn’t ridiculously fragranced compared to the others, but I think I like that for something I’ll be rubbing all over my body/bathing in. (As much as I think this range smells delicious, I don’t know if I actually want to be a walking macaroon!) I’m hoping the added almond, cacao and honey will make my skin feel amazing, I will let you know. You get a decent sized bottle of this for £6.
Have you tried anything out from this range? What are your thoughts?
