Okay, I have officially been writing this blog forever seeing as this is the second Glamour summer edit I’m writing about – eeeek! (We’re coming up to two years I believe, crayzayy.) I adoreee the Glamour beauty edits from latest in beauty, each one has shown me a product I would have never thought about using but loooove – and then I go on to buy them myself! This box is worth £104 but costs £20 including postage.
One of the products that most excited me to see was the grounded coffee scrub. I’m obsessed with start-up businesses and entrepreneurs so I get addicted to all programmes like the apprentice and Dragon’s Den, and the grounded scrub was actually pitched on Dragon’s Den where they got investment, prettay snazzayy. I have the chocolate orange body scrub and oh my fricken goodness it smells incredibleeeeeee. It is literally mashed up terry’s chocolate orange, it’s the only logical solution!
Also included is the Nuxe shower oil – it’s supposed to be great post-tan (not sure why!) but it smells genuinely stunning! If it helps to take away any of the fake tan smell I will be 100000% happy, and I imagine it will moisturise your body beautifully given it’s consistency.
I wanted to cry a little bit at the cute pink Aurelia bottle paired with the rolled up cloth tied with the best little bow – adorable or what? I don’t have the heart to untie it! This is described as ‘a creamy cleanser paired with a handy bamboo muslin cloth – perfect for taking off makeup in one go.’
The makeup product in this box is one I’ve seen popping around everywhere in the beauty world, so I’m really happy I’ll get to try it out! The colour is devotion, which latest in beauty say they chose as it’s the ultimate nude pink shade to suit everyone. It’s a relatively deep browny pink shade and I can imagine it does suit most skin types!
I’ve only tried the St. Tropez in-shower tan so far, which although I really did like, I’m not a huge fan of in-shower tans overall I think. They just don’t do a fantastic job – I reckon they’d be better at topping up a a natural tan after a holiday. I’m excited to try their classic self tan mist though, lets hope it’s as fool proof as my St. Moriz tan.
I love trying out a good sun cream so the Ladvial sun protection spray (feat. a very medicinal looking bottle,) is well received on my end. I’m a burner, not a tanner, so when I want to look tanned, it’s fake. Therefore when I’m spending time out in the sun protection is key for my pastey white skin! I’ll let you know how this gets on with me.
Finally, the box came with a ‘WOW’ facial mask treatment – supposed to plumpen (don’t think I need that eek,) and firm the skin, along with boosting radiance. I usually really get on with the skin care in beauty boxes so hopefully this will be a winner! Last but not least, I received an oribe dry texturising spray for hair – apparently it adds texture and volume like no other so I’m looking forward to giving this a go. Ooooomph.
I think this beauty box has such a good range of products covering different areas and I’m so excited to dig in to everything! You can buy yourself one here for only £20 including postage – which I think is such a good deal!
