Jeffree Star loooooove

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

Aloha aloha! I bought my first product for Jeffree Star last year, when the limited edition liquid lipsticks emerged. I absolutely loved the colour ‘doll parts’, and as I was ordering one for a present for my friend I thought I’d sneak one in the basket for myself – cheeky spontaneous purchase eek! Recently, the new skin frost highlighters have been circling a social media storm so I thought I’d get myself a little more acquainted with the brand…

Feat. some sassy af packaging. 😉 The liquid lipstick is actually a little too dry for my liking – I know this makes it last forever but I feel like my lips are relatively dry anyway and I like the feeling of moisture and movement on my lips personally! That being said, the colour is stunning (darker than expected but I am ridiculously pale,) and I can put a gloss on top to give it a different texture.

The absolute best product – the best highlighter I own to date actually! I bought a peach goddess skin frost, which leaves a beautiful peach-toned shimmer. It’s got the perfect amount of shimmer, not too much that you have to be careful but enough that you can swipe once for a more subtle effect or layer to go all out. The shimmer flecks are so teeny aswell which is perfffffect, you’re not quite a disco ball but you’re kinda making your way down that alley! They’re a little pricey- a lot pricey with customs, but absoluteeeeely worth it. And that being said they’re quite huge, I really think this will last me forever! Lovelovelovelove. The lip scrubs are also quite pricey at around £9, and I’ve always been a LUSH lip scrub lover. I purchased a scrub for my friend as a random stocking filler-y type present, and she told me it is 10000x better than LUSH, so I decided I had to give it a whirl! The tubs are a fair amount bigger than LUSH too so if they really are loads better they’ll definitely be worth it! I haven’t used this yet but I’m sure it will feature in a favourites if it lives up to standards!

Peach goddess on top, with doll parts on the bottom – gorgeous or what!?  Have you got anything from Jeffree Star cosmetics? What are your thoughts?

You can shop the collection on the Jeffree Star website or Cocktail Cosmetics in the UK – who have finally decided to sell the highlighters online as well as in their store!
