Gift Wrapping!

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

Eeek! With Christmas literally just around the corner I thought I’d write up a last minute gift wrap post. I don’t know if this makes me really sad but I genuinely really enjoy wrapping presents and making them all pretty! I just think there’s something so much more special about all the presents under the tree wrapped with beautiful bows and snazzy old wrapping paper! A few of these tips are perfect for last minute wrapping and some of the designs are so cute…

The cactus wrapping paper shown in that first picture is from Mooku on Etsy – you can view it here! Another great shop to buy wrapping paper from for a really reasonable price is Primark. I personally really like to wrap presents in a variety of different wrapping papers so it looks all cute and varied. Primark have some really pretty designs along with a lot of branded designs like Disney and Marvel. If you’re on a tighter budget or have 10000,000,000000 people to give presents to, you can get bundles on eBay for practically nothing.

If you have small presents like jewellery and you’re running last minute, printing your own wrapping paper is a really cute idea. You can Google or Pinterest designs and literally print it out to fit a whole page – voila, the most luxury wrapping paper everrrr.

To jazz up your presents even more, you can literally use leaves and stuff. I know that’s probably really weird but I think it looks really pretty and quite classy when used with plain brown paper or plainer wrapping. You could also dry out your own fruits in the oven and use that for decoration!

This picture popped up on Pinterest and I had to include it because I think it is just amazing! Grab an old newspaper, cut out little shapes like the bunting design shown, and literally write someone’s name out or ‘Merry Christmas.’ Wrap just the top bit around the string and glue, simple, free and you probably have everything you need available!

Do you have anything to add? Have you wrapped all of your presents yet?
