I didn’t actually think to write up this post until I noticed my 2016 round-up and just loved reading through it! So I thought what the hell, let’s write a cheeky little round-up on my 2017 as it was such a special and mainly super happy year for me. Without further ado, here are my highlights:
I started my second year of university this year and moved into a gorgeous house with my boyfriend in Brighton.
I’ve worked with some amazing brands including a year long relationship with Boux Avenue – which is one of my favourites to-date! (The code EMMAS20 will get you 20% off!)
I’ve been on two UK breaks this year – one to Norfolk in January and Bath late November. I really love exploring the UK as it’s generally not too expensive, not too far to travel and there are some hidden gems! I definitely want to do more of this in 2018.
I’ve been lucky enough to go on three abroad holidays in 2017 – to Malta, Sweden and Iceland.
I wrote a little e-book this year – search ‘Emma Sivess’ or ‘Handmade Christmas’ (on a student budget) in apple ibooks!
I’ve been a top explorer – climbing up the O2 and having lots of little London breaks – seeing Harry Potter and the cursed child, Ed Sheeran, the Lion King front row for my birthday, going up the sky garden, up the shard and even for an Aladdin themed afternoon tea! I also saw the Nothern lights in 2017 – which has been at the top of my bucket list for forever! We saw them so bright that they even tinged pink which is really rare and just amaaazing – one of my favourite moments ever.
I had the best time with my family, friends and boyfriend this year and I’m excited to see what 2018 has to offer!
I want to end this post with a special tribute to this little star Archie, you’ll be forever missed my squishy little ginger ball of love. Until we meet again. ♡
